Roger L. Stevens, 84, of Londonderry, NH, died Friday February 1, 2013 in the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. He was born in Exeter, ME on April 10, 1928, a son of the late Paul and Erma (Buswell) Stevens. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 28 years, formerly living in Exeter, NH. Mr. Stevens served with the US Air Force for 25 years, retiring as a Lt. Col. He was also employed as an electrical engineer for Hycor in Woburn, MA, retiring in 1991. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Dunn) Stevens of Londonderry; six children, Patricia Maccomber of Florida, Paul Stevens and wife Julie of Sanford, ME; Paula Smart and husband Kevin of Newmarket, NH, Peter Stevens and wife Lisa of Simpsonville, SC; Cynthia Walsh-Angelis of Andover, MA, and Shannon Reagan and husband Tony of Peterborough, NH; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Buck and husband Terry of Corinna, ME, and Ertelle Ingram of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Neil B. Stevens and Lloyd A. Stevens. A private graveside service was held at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., NH Affiliate, PO Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150-1160. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry handled the arrangements.
